Senior Marcus Garcia is a rarity — an ambidextrous pitcher

The Tigers began their season on a different note, losing to the Yuba City Honkers in the annual Friday night showdown by the score of 7-2. Returning JV sophomore Marcus Garcia shut down Yuba for four innings, allowing no runs, but the bullpen was unable to hold on to their 2-1 fifth inning lead, getting outscored 6-0 over the final two stanzas.
The Tigers boast a strong pitching staff, featuring four lefties. Sophomores Hunter Fornier, Garcia, Reichmann, and Jensen anchor the hard-throwing pitchers.
