Ambidextrous Pitcher Puzzles Hub Batters
The Chillicothe-Tribune, (MO) 22 July 1933
Boson, July 22 - Batters facing Pitcher John Rogers never know whether the ball is coming from the port, or starboard side. He's ambidextrous - both in his vocation as an architect and on the mound as pitcher for the Garman Club of Boston's Hub League.
Recently in a game with the South Boston Braves he fanned 13. He has had both minor and major league offers, but they do not interest him.
