Carrasco, not a switch-pitcher, can throw left-handed

If manager Manny Acta ever needs a left-hander to balance out the Indians’ rotation, all he has to do is look toward one of his right-handers.
Actually, that’s a little strong. Carlos Carrasco is not ready to take the mound yet, or ever, as a left-hander. However, he can throw a baseball with his left hand accurately and from distance.
“It’s pretty impressive,” Acta said Thursday. “I’ve seen him in spring training. And he’ll be out there shagging flies and throws the ball back with his left hand.”
