Will switch pitcher Aubrey McCarty be picked in the 2013 MLB draft?
Some MLB prospect lists have Aubrey McCarty as high as draft pick #295.
"In the Draft, you want to take a high school lefty and a high school righty, sometimes you want to take two or three of them," McNamara said. (Tom McNamara, Seattle Mariners' Director of Amateur Scouting)
2013 MLB Draft:
Aubrey McCarty was selected by the SF Giants in the 35th round (#1062 overall)
However, it looks like McCarty will be playing for Vanderbilt next year!

I think that an ambidextrous pitcher might be selected in the 2013 MLB Draft, not as a switch pitcher but to play a corner position like first base or outfield.
Most switch pitchers are very athletic players who field well and switch hit or are strong left-handed hitters.
Previous ambidextrous pitchers selected in the MLB Player Draft include:
Andrew Pullin
Drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 5th round (188) of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft from Centralia HS (Centralia, WA). Position: OF
Drew Vettleson
Drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 1st round (42nd) of the 2010 MLB June Amateur Draft from Central Kitsap HS (Silverdale, WA). Position: OF
Pat Venditte
Drafted by the New York Yankees in the 45th round of the 2007 MLB June Amateur Draft from Creighton University (Omaha, NE) and the New York Yankees in the 20th round of the 2008 MLB June Amateur Draft from Creighton University (Omaha, NE). Position: RHP/LHP
