Watch the recruiting video of Jake Major on YouTube to see him throwing a bullpen right- and left-handed.

In May 2014, Jake Major pitched right-handed in the Utah State High School Tournament, picking up the save by getting the last two outs with the bases loaded. The Grizzles won 14-13 in seven innings to advance in the playoffs. (Watch the video)

Jake Major Ambidextrous pitcher. Natural Right-hander, has been throwing Left-handed since he was 12 years old.

Watch a switch hitter change sides of the plate, a few times, during the at-bat - while Jack Major continued to pitch right-handed. Unfortunately, HS rules don't allow switch pitchers to change throwing arms during an at-bat.

OREM — When Jake Major got the nod and strolled out to the mound in the seventh inning of Logan’s battle against Murray, the inexperienced pitcher looked up and his coach and firmly said, “We are not losing this game with me on the mound.”

Major kept his promise to Logan baseball coach Logan Brown, as he helped the Grizzlies out of a late, seventh-inning jam to help preserve the narrow 14-13 victory on the mound.

“I really appreciate a young man that has that kind of determination,” Brown said of Major. “You know, you start finding ways to win ball games and it just shows a lot of resiliency on our part.”
